The Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) pocket guide was designed to enhance vesicular disease surveillance in sheep by providing practitioners, veterinary students, government personnel, and livestock producers with a convenient resource illustrating the progression of FMD lesions. The Pocket Guide is one component of a cooperative agreement from the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) to ASI for the Secure Sheep and Wool Supply (SSWS) Plan.
