The Dairy Sheep Association of North America will hold its annual symposium this November, in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario (one hour west of Toronto). This year’s theme is “Mastitis and Milk Quality Management,” with presentations focused on how dairy sheep producers can manage mastitis in their flock and optimize milk quality. Additional presentations will focus on dairy sheep genetics, breeding, cheesemaking economics and marketing, and dairy sheep health and nutrition. A Saturday of farm tours and a Thursday evening wine & cheese reception will round out the event.
