Visitors to the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival will have the opportunity to explore the remarkable diversity of sheep breeds from around the world in the Festival’s popular Hall of Breeds. The exhibit will be open throughout the weekend of September 11–13, 2026, at the Jefferson County Fair Park.

The Hall of Breeds brings together sheep producers from across the region who proudly display their animals and share their knowledge with festival guests. From fine-wool breeds known for producing luxurious fibers to hardy meat breeds and versatile dual-purpose sheep, the exhibit offers an up-close look at the animals that make the sheep and wool industry so dynamic.

Held annually at Jefferson County Fair Park, the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival is one of the largest events of its kind in the Midwest. In addition to the Hall of Breeds, the festival features sheep shows, an extensive vendor marketplace, educational workshops, fiber arts demonstrations, and family-friendly activities.
