ALB Unveils New Video Series

Before it ever makes it to the family dinner table, American lamb is raised and prepared by people who are invested in the entire process, from pasture to plate. American lamb producers are connected to the land and to their communities, and they care deeply about the origin of the product they offer to consumers. They are real people with a real passion for what they do. 
The American Lamb Board (ALB) recently debuted a new video series that showcases the pasture-to-plate story – from the industry’s history and heritage to the important relationships shepherds and chefs share to a behind-the-scenes look at the popular Lamb Jam Tour. Visit to view the videos. 
In addition, ALB is looking for more lamb industry videos to help tell this story: lamb industry members are encouraged to submit their own video about the inspiring families, traditions and production practices in the U.S. lamb industry. 
According to Megan Wortman, ALB executive director, “Our customers from retailers to chefs to consumers care about where the food comes from and how it was raised. These new videos help us connect customers to our production story and our producers and educate them about how we raise lambs in the United States.”
