 \nSDSU Extension will host a sheep shearing school for anyone wanting to l
 earn how to shear a sheep from professional sheep shearers\, from October 
 24-26 at the SDSU Sheep Research and Teaching Unit (3729 Medary Ave.\, Bro
 okings\, SD 57007).\n\nParticipants will learn the shearing pattern to saf
 ely and effectively shear sheep. Professional sheep shearers will provide 
 hands-on training in safe animal handling\, equipment maintenance and repa
 ir\, wool quality and how to manage a sheep shearing business. Both exper
 ienced and non-experienced shearers are welcome. In addition\, the school 
 will cover shearing equipment maintenance and repair.\n\nRegistration\n\nT
 he cost to attend is $250 and registration is required using the blue regi
 ster button above. Shearing equipment and snacks are provided by the schoo
 l. Meals are to be covered by the participant. Participation is limited to
