Nov. 07, 2003 -- Details of the 2004 American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) and National Lamb Feeders Association (NLFA) Convention are being finalized. The annual meeting will be held Jan. 21-24, 2004, at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento at Capitol Park in Sacramento, Calif.
This gathering will include representation from ASI and NLFA as well as: National Sheep Industry Improvement Center, American Lamb Board, Make It Yourself With Wool, ASI Women and Western Range.
The California Wool Growers Association has been invaluable in assisting with the arrangements of industry tours for the group on Thursday, Jan. 22. Options for convention attendees include: a full-day tour of Superior Farms? lamb slaughter and processing facilities and the Hamilton Ranch; a half-day tour of California wine country; or ?A Wool Buyer for a Day? workshop.
