World Congress Set for July 2004

Oct. 24, 2003 -- The 2004 World Sheep and Wool Congress will be hosted by our northern neighbor, Quebec City, Canada. Since the event will be held so close to home, producers and industry affiliates have a unique opportunity to be involved in this international gathering of sheep and wool associates. Mark your calendars from July 17?23, 2004, to attend.

One of the many events scheduled during the Congress is a shearing contest. The contest is limited to 25 shearers. ASI has been informed that applicants from Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and Canada have expressed an interest, but they have not yet received any applications from the United States. If you are interested, you can pre-register through their Web site at: http://www.worldsheep.com by going to the pre-registration form and indicating your interest in the shearing contest in the notes section of the form.
