Members of the American Lamb Board (ALB) convened in Denver Sept 6-7, 2003, to approve their budget. The FY 2004 budget of $3.5 million combines the projected FY 2004 collections and fund balance carryover from FY 2003.
ALB board members allocated $2.6 million for promotions.
The ALB?s fall promotional activities include a joint promotion with Buena Vista Winery, full-page color ads in Epicurean national magazines, a recipe label program through retailers and case-ready programs, participation in the Culinary Institute of America?s ?World?s of Flavor? fall conference and a media event in New York to train campaign spokespersons and drive magazine coverage.
