Wool Council and Executive Board Meetings Scheduled

Both the American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) wool council and executive board are scheduled to hold meetings in Denver in July.

The wool council will be concentrating its time on the discussion of the 2003-2004 Wool Trust Budget, which it will then present to the executive board. Each year this budget must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Agriculture for review.

The executive board agenda includes the approval of the 2003-2004 budget, sheep insurance, and program and issue updates ranging from animal identification to requests to extend the LMAAP programs. Agendas and meeting information for July 9 ? 11 are available from the ASI office.
