Why are you an ASI Guard Dog member? ?I am a Guard Dog member because I know the importance of ASI (American Sheep Industry Association) and what it has accomplished for producers on a national level in the legislative arena.?
How do you think the industry has benefited from the Guard Dog funds? ?I am aware of the need for non-restricted dollars in order for ASI to accomplish its goals. With the Guard Dog Program in place, not only has ASI been able to have a strong voice for the industry in Washington, D.C., but it has also been able to bring dollars back to producers? pockets through its efforts.?
What do you think are the industry?s needs in the future? ?The Guard Dog Program allows ASI the opportunity to extend its efforts in Washington, D.C. whenever the need arises.?

What do you think are the industry?s needs in the future? ?I think the industry needs to monitor the government and anti-livestock groups, and also modify the ESA (Endangered Species Act). It needs to include sound science and local input. ASI (American Sheep Industry Association) is doing a good job.?
