Life on the Range is an educational project that showcases stories about the ever-changing landscape of ranching, multiple-use management, entrepreneurial spirit, family and stewardship on Idaho's rangelands. The heart-warming stories provide a rare glimpse of how neighbors in rural Idaho work every day to improve the earth and touch people's lives in positive ways.
Included in this series are the stories of sheep producers Frank Shirts, Henry Etcheverry and John Noh and of Lava Lake Ranch. The videos portray the sheep industry and lamb production in a very positive light. The scenery is beautiful and the stories are unique. To enjoy the videos, go to www.lifeontherange.org.
Life on the Range is sponsored by the Idaho Rangeland Resource Commission.
