U.S. Accredited AWEX-ID Appraisers

March/April 2005 -- To better describe U.S. wools to both the domestic and international wool community, the American Wool Council has conducted Australian Wool Exchange Industry Description (AWEX-ID) training sessions with Australian Wool Exchange staff in the United States.

The AWEX-ID description and objective measurement of wool allows for more market transparency and more accurate information in market reporting. Growers, warehouses, wool pools and buyers all benefit by having a more accurate description of the wool.

Below is the list of U.S. Accredited Appraisers who are working with the American Wool Council to help adopt the internationally recognized description system.
