8th World Sheep and Wool Congress to be held in Mexico

March/April 2005 -- Secretary of Agriculture Hector Samuel Lugo Chavez from the State of Queretaro, Mexico, extended a formal invitation to American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) members to the 8th World Sheep and Wool Congress to be held July 2007 in Queretaro, Mexico.

This event will afford an opportunity for international allies to learn about their global counterparts' successes and challenges. In addition, an agricultural show, a livestock exposition and recreational activities will take place.

Chavez played a video for convention attendees highlighting the Mexican sheep industry, their agricultural business and lamb production.
