Dear Sheep Industry News,
March/April 2005 -- For the past 30 years, my wife and I have farmed sheep on our 600-acre property in the south of the south island of New Zealand. Recently, we have downsized our operation to enable us to explore other ventures.
Last northern summer, we spent three months working at a children's camp in Wisconsin. This coming year, we would like to experience life on a sheep farm in your country at lambing time. We are especially interested in lambing sheep indoors as all our operations are mainly outdoor.
We can be contacted by e-mail at gore_farmer@hotmail.com or write to Bill and Gladys Dowden; Waikoikoi; 1 RD; Gore 9700; New Zealand.
Sincerely,
Bill Dowden
