According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, to date, America's farmers and ranchers are taking action in overwhelming numbers to mail back their completed Agriculture Census forms, submit them online or call and e-mail for assistance.
The Feb. 4 deadline is fast approaching. The American Sheep Industry Association wants to remind sheep producers that the census data is the main source of information relied upon by the industry in responding to questions from media, Congress and state and federal agencies. All producers are encouraged to respond.
Completed forms are due by Feb. 4. Census forms can be returned by mail or online by visiting a secure website, www.agcensus.usda.gov.
