Leaders of the House Committee on Agriculture announced the committee's membership for the 113th Congress.
Rep. Frank Lucas (Okla.) was reelected chairman of the agriculture committee. Lucas's leadership team includes Reps. Steve King (Iowa), subcommittee on department operations, oversight and nutrition; K. Michael Conaway (Texas), subcommittee on general farm commodities and risk management; Glenn Thompson (Penn.), subcommittee on conservation, energy and forestry; Austin Scott (Ga.), subcommittee on horticulture, research, biotechnology, and foreign agriculture; and Rick Crawford (Ark.), subcommittee on livestock, rural development and credit.
Rep. Collin Peterson (Minn.) will remain the committee's ranking Democratic member.
