2012 ASI Convention News

Agendas are being posted to www.sheepusa.org/meeteing_agendas as they are developed for the various meetings taking place during the 2012 American Sheep Industry Association/National Lamb Feeders Association (NLFA). Check them out!

NLFA has reported that there are still some openings for the Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, golf event. Anyone interested is encouraged to call NLFA at 503-364-5462.

Scottsdale Trivia: The desert is home to many animals. Chuckwalla lizards protect themselves from predators in an unusual way. They crawl into cracks between rocks and gulp in air. The loose skin of their necks and backs stretches as they fill with air, and they tightly fill the cracks. Predators cannot pry them loose from their hiding spots.
