
Keep your calendars marked for Oct. 20 from 3 to 8 p.m. for an "outside of the box" series of seminars and dinner-panel discussion from local and national sheep industry experts. Come with questions as there will be time for questions and answers from a broad spectrum of sheep expertise.
Scheduled topics include Lamb and Wool Outlook, Breeding Soundness Exams/New Scrapie Rules, Forage Kochia: A Perfect Fit for Sheep, Practical Tips for Enhanced Ewe Reproduction, Range Ewe Winter Supplementation Strategies and Evaluation of Columbia, USMARC-Composite, Suffolk and Texel Rams as Terminal Sires in an Extensive Rangeland Production System.
This educational meeting will be held at the Boss Lodge Restaurant in Gillette, Wyo., making it possible for sheep producers from northeastern Wyoming, western South Dakota and southeastern Montana to attend.
