On August 31, the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) launched a new
website and
Facebook app as another opportunity for farmers and ranchers to raise their voices and join the conversation.
USFRA asked the industry what they wished Americans had more information about when it came to how food is raised or grown. Now, through the new site and Facebook app, Americans are invited to join the conversation.
That's not all! On Sept. 22, USFRA presents The Food Dialogues Town Hall. Four panels in key locations across the country will answer Americans' biggest questions about farming and ranching from the cost of food to the environmental impact. The event will be moderated by Claire Shipman from "Good Morning America" and will feature Chef John Besh. Additional participants include Max Armstrong of Farm Progress Companies and Jane Wells of CNBC.
These discussions will take place in Washington, D.C.; New York; Fair Oaks, Indiana; and Davis, California, as well as online via Facebook and the website.
Join this first-of-its-kind virtual event, where you can hear leaders in food, food service, media and policy, farmers of all types and business leaders with different viewpoints discuss the future of food. For more information, visit
www.fooddialogues.com for online event details.
