Burlington Apparel Continues Navy Poly/Wool Cloth

Burlington Apparel Fabrics, Greensboro, N.C., was issued a modification exercising the second option year on a current Navy contract. Approximately $6 million of cloth has already been bought against this $9 million contract. The completion date is July 11, 2012.
The fabric is a washable 75 percent polyester, 25 percent wool being used by the Navy. Each linear yard of the cloth utilizes a quarter pound of clean grade 62s wool (22.05 to 23.49 micron).
