Bruggers Named NWRC Director

November 2004 -- Dr. Richard Bruggers has been appointed director for the National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC) in Fort Collins, Colo.

Bruggers has been with NWRC for more than 25 years in various positions of increasing responsibility, acting as assistant director at the center for the last 10 years.

According to Deputy Administrator for Wildlife Services, Bill Clay, Bruggers has demonstrated excellent technical and administrative abilities over the years and will continue to serve the program well.

Bruggers began his appointment on Sept. 19, 2004.
