JBS USA Expanding its Colorado Presence

JBS USA, the U.S. subsidiary of Brazil's JBS S.A., is expanding its presence in Greeley, Colo. The company recently spent $21.8 million to buy the 102,000 square-foot headquarters building it had been leasing since it acquired Swift and Co. in 2007. The company also bought a 32,000 square foot building next door to the headquarters for $7 million. Meanwhile, the company is adding another 34,000 square feet to its 20-acre Greeley campus to build a fitness center, cafeteria, conference center and employee work stations. Construction is expected to begin soon.
