ASI Reporting Preliminary LRP-Lamb Coverage Prices and Rates

Effective immediately, the American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) will be publishing preliminary LRP-Lamb Coverage Prices and Rates. The report will be available at approximately 3:30 Mountain time each Friday afternoon on the ASI Web site at www.sheepusa.org/user_files/file_728.pdf. The report is also available by clicking on the LRP-Lamb Info box on the ASI home page and then clicking on the LRP-Lamb Preliminary Rates link.

ASI has been informed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Risk Management Agency (RMA) that it will no longer be publishing preliminary rates on Friday preceding a Monday sale.

Remember, the Friday preliminary coverage prices and rates are subject to change. Always go to the RMA Web site at www3.rma.usda.gov/apps/livestock_reports/ on Monday to view the actual LRP-Lamb Coverage Prices and Rates for sales each week.
