Lamb Companies Merge as Fontelli Food

The four companies in the lamb, veal and feed industries that merged earlier this year announced they will begin operating under a new parent structure called the Fontelli Food Group.

The companies are Catelli Brothers, a New Jersey company that produces all-natural choice lamb and veal; Delimax Veal Inc., a Wisconsin company that produces feed and veal; and Specialty Meats Inc., a California company that produces lamb and veal. Also included is NRV, an Indiana producer of milk replacers, electrolytes and feed supplements for veal calves throughout the United States.

The four companies in the merger will operate independently under existing corporate structures and brands, but the affiliation provides them with both regional and national distribution capabilities.
