Updated Replacement Sheep Report Posted

An updated table representing the replacement costs for breeding animals has been posted to the American Sheep Industry Association Web site, www.sheepusa.org, in the market reports section. Monthly and annual analysis is available for breeding ewes and rams.
This report is made available as a tool for making sheep-loss payments to producers through the livestock indemnity program, for the banking industry as guidance for producers buying or selling breeding sheep and for use in court cases where breeding sheep are killed due to trucking accidents or dog attacks as well as for indemnification in the scrapie eradication program.
