NIAA and USAHA Set Traceability Forum

July 2, 2010
The National Institute for Animal Agriculture and the United States Animal Health Association are co-hosting the Joint Industry and Regulatory Strategy Forum on Animal Disease Traceability. The meeting will be held at the Renaissance Denver Hotel in Denver, Colo., and will begin on Monday, Aug. 30, at 1 p.m. and will conclude on Tuesday, Aug. 31, at 2 p.m.

It has been communicated that the State/Tribal Working Group that is developing the performance standards for the new animal disease traceability framework will release its recommendations in August. These findings will be the focal point of discussions at the forum. It is predicted that the forum will lead to the development of a white paper designed to document the many issues and potential solutions surrounding animal disease traceability.
