Solicitation for Committee on Animal Health

The secretary of agriculture has established the Advisory Committee on Animal Health for a two-year period and is soliciting nominations for membership.
The committee advises the secretary on means to prevent, conduct surveillance, monitor, control or eradicate animal diseases of national importance while considering public health, conservation of natural resources and the stability of livestock economies.
Nominations received on or before Aug. 2 will be considered. Interested individuals can contact Michael Doerrer at Michael.R.Doerrer@aphis.usda.gov.
