The symposium, titled "Going, going, gone! How Curtailment of Livestock Grazing on Federal Lands Could Alter the U. S. Sheep Industry," will be held on Tuesday, July 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and not on Sunday, July 11, as originally published. The workshop will demonstrate what policies, perceptions and biases are being used to challenge the use of federal lands for agricultural production and how the loss of grazing access to federal lands could affect the U.S. sheep industry.
Although attendance to the symposium is closed to membership and contributors, free webinar access will be available to the public. For more information about the symposium, visit http://adsa.psa.ampa.csas.asas.org/meetings/2010/.
