"Tell APHIS" Launched

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) understands that stakeholder and customer interchange is essential for the agency to successfully carry out its mission of protecting the health and value of American agriculture and natural resources.
To this end, APHIS has developed a new tool to allow for greater exchange of ideas online. "Tell APHIS," at http://tellaphis.usda.gov/, is a new internet site that allows APHIS to post questions or concepts and use targeted email and new media tools, such as Twitter, to alert stakeholders to new information and ask for input.
The first discussion topic to be posted is animal disease traceability.
