Sheep Industry Video Contest

The American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) and the American Lamb Board (ALB) are inviting you to join our video competition. If you have a story to share about your sheep operation, we want to hear it! Tell us about your "Day in the Life as a Shepherd" that showcases your best sheep production practices celebrating your family's heritage and traditions. Show us how you produce safe, environmentally friendly meat and wool.

The winner of the video contest will win round-trip airfare to San Francisco, Calif., and a one-night stay to attend the Lamb Jam at the Fort Mason Center, July 18, 2010. The Lamb Jam is a food and wine extravaganza that promotes locally produced lamb prepared by area chefs paired with wines from the area. All entries will receive a thank-you gift courtesy of ALB for your time and participation.

Still interested? To enter, create a short original video (no longer than five minutes) and upload it to Youtube.com. Then e-mail the link of your video and your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number to amy@sheepusa.org.

Entries will be judged on creativity, appropriateness and effectiveness. The submission deadline is May 24, 2010, and the grand-prize winner will be announced on ASI's and ALB's Facebook pages by mid-June.
