
Superior Farms announced the launch of its "Mediterranean Grill" line, lamb products designed for grilling under $10.
The products are seasoned with a blend of citrus, garlic, olive oil and spices designed to "take the guesswork out of grilling lamb," the company said in a news release. They are vacuum-sealed and packaged in 100 percent-recyclable sleeves.
Specific products include Mediterranean burger patties, seasoned lamb and beef kabobs, seasoned lamb leg steaks and a seasoned grill-ready leg roast.
"With Mediterranean Grill items, consumers don't need to learn any new recipes, buy any extra ingredients and can have a fantastic, affordable meal," said Gary Pfeiffer, eastern vice president of sales and marketing for Superior Farms. "One of people's barriers to purchasing lamb is being unsure of how to cook it as well as price. We have eliminated both of those barriers."
