2004 -- Recent strength in the lamb market and lower
consignment numbers helped with higher sale prices in some categories at the
83rd Annual Idaho State Ram and Ewe Sale held
The sale, sponsored by the Idaho Wool Growers Association, boasted good numbers and a stronger-than-average buyer turnout.
Consignors sold 247 rams and 3 registered ewes with total gross receipts at $156,350, an increase of $29,450 from the total gross receipts of $126,900 in 2003.
