National Grazing Land Conference in December

The fourth National Conference on Grazing Lands, sponsored by the Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative and the Society for Range Management, will be held Dec. 13-16 at the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, Nev.

A broad range of topics, from grazing for species conservation to grazing management techniques for livestock operations, will be covered during the two-day conference. The conference aims to heighten awareness of the economic and environmental aspects of grazing lands and technical assistance will be emphasized. Highlights include presentations reinforced by real-world examples from panels of ranchers and farmers.
