NAIS Comment Period Ends

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service will close the comment period for the submission of stakeholder concerns related to the implementation of the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) on Monday, Aug. 3, 2009. Comments received on or before Aug. 3 will be considered.
Producers and stakeholders are encouraged to visit www.regulations.gov/search/Regs/home.html#documentDetail?R=090000648097159c to provide suggestions and comments before Aug. 3.
