Leadership School Deadline Approaches

Applications to apply for the 2009 Howard Wyman Sheep Industry Leadership School being held June 28 to July 1, 2009, in Greeley, Colo., are due May 1.

The school offers attendees the opportunity to share ideas in problem-solving situations relevant to current sheep industry issues, i.e. production, marketing, feeding of by-products and meat processing, in addition to benefiting from industry-wide contacts in all phases of the sheep industry.

Only 25 participants will be accepted to attend. Applicants must be 20 years of age or older. No fee is required until after the applicant is selected. Once accepted, participants are required to pay a $200 registration fee and are responsible for their own travel to and from Greeley, Colo. The National Lamb Feeders Association (NLFA) covers on-site costs, including food, lodging and tour-related expenses.
