Under the leadership of the American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) Research and Education Council Chair, David Greene of Maryland, a review team arrived at the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service's (ARS), U.S. Sheep Experiment Station in Dubois, Idaho, the last week of May.
Joining Greene were ASI President Guy Flora, Ohio; ASI Resource Management Co-Chair Margaret Soulen-Hinson, Idaho; and ASI Animal Health Committee Chair Dr. Jim Logan, Wyoming.
A report pertaining to research direction will be delivered to ARS at the conclusion of the review.
The review is just one of an on-going set of reviews ARS has requested of some of its locations by the ASI Research and Education Council.
