Award Nominations Due Tuesday

November 16, 2007 - There are only a few days left to submit your nominations for the American Sheep Industry Association's (ASI) annual award program. Nominations are due into the office on or before next Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007.

If you know of someone who deserves to be acknowledged for the positive role he/she has played within the industry, be sure to submit your nomination.

Six award categories are available for nominations: McClure Silver Ram, Camptender, Flock Guardian, Shepherd's Voice for Print Media, Shepherd's Voice for Broadcast Media and Environmental Stewardship.

Award descriptions and the nomination form can be found by clicking on the "2008 Awards Program Details" link on the home page of the ASI Web site at www.sheepusa.org or by contacting ASI at 303-771-3500.

Winners will be honored during the ASI annual convention in Las Vegas, Nev., Jan. 24-26, 2008.

Past award recipients are not eligible for re-nomination. A list of previous award winners is located on the ASI Web site.
