New Research Journal Articles Posted

September 28, 2007 - The Sheep and Goat Research Journal recently posted four newly released articles relevant to the industry. The publication can be access at www.sheepusa.org.

Articles posted in 2007 issue include:

Weaning Weights in a Range Purebred Merino and Crossbred Merino x Rambouillet Flock;

Peanut Stover and Bermudagrass Hay for Wethers on Summer Hardwood Rangeland in North Central Texas;

Growth and Carcass Characteristics in Goat Kids Fed Grass- and Alfalfa-Hay-Based Diets with Limited Concentrate Supplementation; and

Western Snowberry Response to Fire and Goat Browsing.

In 2005, the journal transitioned from a paper publication to an online publication. Work is ongoing to format earlier editions into electronic format providing broader access to this current research.
