Marine Fabric Solicitation Posted

September 14, 2007 - The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia posted a contract solicitation notice on Tuesday, Sept. 11, requesting a wool blend fabric for the U.S. Marine Corps.
The solicitation calls for between 180,000 yards and 204,000 yards of a khaki 45/55 wool/polyester blend fabric. Over the four-year life of the contract, the wool consumption required to supply this solicitation will utilize more than 255,000 pounds of clean 21-micron U.S. wool.
