May 4, 2007 - The annual American Lamb Barbecue was once again a highlight for legislative and departmental employees. The facility was filled to capacity as more than 140 guests and industry leaders dined on a menu featuring flavorful American lamb chops grilled to perfection.
Rick and Larry Meyers and Fran Boyd of Meyers and Associates took charge of the meat preparation. The Mountain States Rosen Company generously donated the lamb chops for the evening.
Honored guests included Sen. Craig Thomas (Wyo.), member of the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee, and Rep. Collin Peterson (Minn.), chair of the House Agriculture Committee. Staff contact: Peter Orwick, ext. 33
