World Sheep and Wool Congress

February 23, 2007 - The 8th World Sheep and Wool Congress will take place on July 24-26, 2007, in Queretaro, Mexico.

According to information on the congress Web site, this event will offer to the world the best of Mexico, and it will be a showcase of the development and the future of the sheep industry.

A wide array of academic programs has been announced. James Morgan with the National Sheep Improvement Program will lead a workshop entitled Selecting Quality Breeding Stock and Yves Burger, superintendent and sheep researcher at the Spooner Ag Research Station at the University of Wisconsin, will be presenting the following two workshops: Economics of Sheep Dairying and Nutrition Effect in Sheep Milk Production.

The event will also allow an opportunity to establish new business relationships with colleagues from around the world.
