AI Cases Posted on Web

November 3, 2006 - The U.S. Departments of Agriculture (USDA) and Interior (DOI) announced that all new discoveries of low pathogenic avian influenza (AI) will be made public via a Web site.
To date, USDA and DOI have found 12 cases of low-path AI in six states through the expanded wild bird monitoring program, an initiative executed in conjunction with state governments.
All announcements can be reached through USDA's AI Web site, www.usda.gov/birdflu.
