Burlington Awarded DCSP Contract

October 27, 2006 - Defense Center Supply Philadelphia is awarding to Burlington Apparel Fabrics, Greensboro, N.C., a maximum $12 million fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for polyester/wool cloth for U.S. Army uniforms.
The work will be performed at Raeford in Cordova, N.C., and in Hurt, Va., with a completion date of Oct. 18, 2007.
This contract will complete the orders for the green shade uniforms currently being used by the Army. A new blue uniform has been approved and will be implemented in October 2008.
