Beret Contract Awarded

September 26, 2008 - The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) this week awarded a major beret contract to North Carolina company Jensen Promotional Items. The one-year contract calls for the production of 125,000 to 400,000 Army and Air Force berets.
Production of the military berets will require between 27,000 pounds to 88,000 pounds of clean, American 62's grade wool. DSCP expects demand to require the maximum production amount.
