Sheep Center Board Nominations Announced

September 19, 2008 - The American Sheep and Goat Center (ASGC) announced this week that it is accepting nominations to its board of directors for three voting directors' positions whose terms expire in 2009. Additionally, ASGC is accepting nominations for one newly created board of director position. The total board membership has been set at nine directors.

The open board seats are currently held by Chase Hibbard of Montana, Paul Lewis of Oregon and Tim Turner, DVM, of Texas. Each member is eligible for reappointment. The board members manage and oversee the activities of the sheep center.

Nominations may only be submitted by national organizations whose membership consists primarily of active sheep or goat producers in the United States. If you are interested in being considered for one of the board positions, contact your national organization to be nominated.
