The Value of Sheep
West African Edward Broni on Feb. 17, 2004, pleaded guilty to three counts of offensive conduct for insulting his chief and calling him a ?senseless man.?
Broni is out on a 50 million cedis bail (US$500,000). In addition, the 22-year-old farmer was ordered by a Ghana court to pacify his chief by giving him three sheep.
