ERS Report Provides Farm Bill Overview

September 12, 2008 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service (ERS) has released a new report, The 2008 Farm Bill: Side-by-Side Comparison, that aims to present an overview of the Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008 and provide a side-by-side comparison of previous legislation and the 2008 Act.
The report also includes links to related ERS publications and to analyses of previous farm acts. New features include a user's guide, an A-Z list of major provisions and a search function
