New Article Posted to the Sheep and Goat Research Journal

August 29, 2008

August 29, 2008 - A new article has been posted to the 2008 Sheep and Goat Research Journal.

The article, "The Yellowing Propensity of Rambouillet Wool," was written by B. A. Cameron and R. H. Stobart. With the propensity for Rambouillet wool to develop yellow discoloration, this study looked at the possibility to include yellowing propensity in a selection program, allowing producers to discriminate against these animals.

This and other industry-specific research articles can be accessed at www.sheepusa.org.

In 2005, the journal transitioned from a paper publication to an online publication. Work is ongoing to format earlier editions into electronic format providing broader access to this current sheep industry research.
