The August 2008 issue of the Agricultural Research magazine is dedicated to matching genes and traits. Featured in this issue is an article describing some of the current experiments in sheep entitled, Genetic Underpinnings of Sheep Traits May Yield Clues to Greater Productivity.
Sheep industry research from the U.S. Sheep Experiment Station at Dubois, Idaho, the Animal Disease Research Unit at Pullman, Wash., and the Meat Animal Research Center at Clay Center, Neb., is highlighted in this feature article.
