DOI Semiannual Rules Schedule

April 28, 2006 -- The Department of the Interior (DOI) posted a notice on Monday providing the semi-annual agenda of rules scheduled for review or development between spring 2006 and fall 2006. The Regulatory Flexibility Act and Executive Order 12866 require publication of the agenda.

With this publication, DOI fulfills the requirements: to publish an agenda of rules that have been issued or expect to be issued, of currently effective rules that they have schedule for review and to identify rules that will have significant economic effects on a substantial number of small entities.

The notice includes the removal of the Northern Rocky Mountains distinct population segment of the gray wolf from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife.
